My name is John Etchells and I am a South African citizen resident in Cape Town, South Africa. After graduating from a top-tier university, I worked in corporate environments for many years, both locally and abroad. I consider myself an entrepreneur, with projects and ventures related to consulting, importing, and now tourism.

I spent 15 years working abroad, which allowed me to immerse myself in and understand a range of cultures, customs, and languages. It exposed me to travel opportunities that stimulated my love for travel and tourism. My more than a dozen years living and working in mainland China provided the opportunity and foundation to learn and grow more holistically. The history, geography, customs, and cultures of my own country now hold a new fascination for me, which I am passionate about sharing with all my travel friends!

I am a qualified and registered Tourist Guide with the Department of Tourism in South Africa, allowing me to share my knowledge and passion with tourists from all over the globe.
